As an excellent cycling destination, the Marais poitevin is perfect for biking lovers.
Two long-distance cycling routes are crossing the Marsh:

> The Vélodyssée – A Eurovelo route connecting Norway to Portugal on 1 400 kilometres of routes.
> The Vélo Francette – This route connects Ouistreham in the Calvados department to La Rochelle, by crossing the Marais poitevin, from Niort to the Aiguillon Bay.
> The Vélidéale – which connects Lake Vassivière to the Brière Regional Natural Park.

You will then be able to travel by bike throughout your stay thanks to the 800 kilometers of marked cycling paths throughout the Marais Poitevin.
